Navy, 20+ Years
Joined the Navy in March, 1980 and Retired from the Navy in June 2010 after completing over 30 Years of Honerable Service. Was part of Desert Shield/Desert Storm in 1991 Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2003. and various other Campains Served 10 and years in Yokosuka, Japan (1993-2004) Served on the Following Ships; USS PELELIU (LHA 5) stationed out of Long Beach, CA (1982-1986), USS LEYTE GULF (CG 55) stationed out of Mayport, FL (1990-1993), USS MOBILE BAY (CG 53) stationed out of Yokosuka, Japan (1997-2000), USS COWPENS (CG 63) station out of Yokosuka, Japan (2000-2004) and finally USS FORREST SHERMAN (DDG 98) stationed out of Norfolk, VA (2004-2007). Shore Commands that I was stationed at were; Boot Camp in San Diego, CA (1980) Service School Command San Diego, CA (1980), Service School Command Great Lakes, IL MK 86 Gun Fire control C School (1980-1982), Aegis Training Center Dahlgren,VA for Aegis Weapon System C School followed by Instructor Duty (1986-1990), Aegis Training and Support Group Yokosuka, Japan (1993-1997) and Finally Center for Surface Combat Systems, Dahlgren, VA (2007-2010)

Our Riverdale High School military alumni are some of the most outstanding people we know and this page recognizes them and everything they have done! Not everyone gets to come home for the holidays and we want our Riverdale High School Military to know that they are loved and appreciated. All of us in Muscoda are proud of our military alumni and want to thank them for risking their lives to protect our country!
