About	Vic died of pancreatic cancer in 2009 according to his sister Dorothy Almon. She did not provide an exact date so I chose the last day of the year since there was no "unknown " option for month/day. Vic was my senior year prom date (Stairway to the Stars), but I lost track of him right after graduation. According to his sister he went to Lindenwood college on a drama scholarship. (He played Elwood Dowd in "Harvey" and Mr. Frank in "The Diary of Anne Frank.") After graduation he went to Miami University in Oxford, OH for his Master and Doctorate degrees in English. He then moved to Macomb, IL at Western Illinois University where he taught for for 25 years.

Victor's mom was our Weblos Cub Scout Leader and I went to school with Victor through high school. He was a kind, smart, talented friend. We are sorry to loose him.
