| Favorite School Memory | Kicking it with Caroline Silk, Robby Fisher, Doug Hodel, Jeray Perez, Aunrey, Carrie Moore, Kelly, & so many others. We had some fun. Me & Robby were the only guys who ever surfed & still cut school & drove to Steamers, Rockaway Beach, & Linda Mar to surf. I swear, I've been very lucky because I never thought I would of turned out the way I did looking back at my younger naive du...(read more) |
| About Me | I joined the Marine Corps in 1990 MCRD G Co. 2121. Several years after graduating MCRD boot camp, I became a Scout Sniper, MOS 8541 with 2/2 Surveillance Target & Acquisition Platoon, also known as STA Plt. or Scout Sniper Plt. Later I eventually became the Team Leader leading & conducting operations throughout the world. I'm currently known to be published in 8 books most notable being The Fellowship of Valor The Battle History of the United States Marines which is an actual history of all combat missions conducted by USMC from 1775 till 1997, Death From Afar books Vol.I, UI, III, IV & V. I'm also currently known to be in 13 magazine's/articles/news reports for our actions mostly in Haiti, Bosnia, Kosovo, West Africa, Ivory Coast, Central Africa, Burundi, CAR/Congo/DRC, Rwanda, Somalia, Sierra Leone Freetown, & large parts of other African conflict zones. The list keeps growing as I'm repeatedly updated by others when they've read about me. I've been awarded 15 ribbons/medals, several Commendations, Consistently held 4.8/4.9 Proficiency & Conduct Remarks, 3 Letters of Appreciation, 2 Meritorious Mast, 1st place recipient of the USMCs 91/92 Super Squad/Rifle Squad Competition with - B 1/3 K-Bay, Hawaii & 92/93 2nd place winners with G 2/2 Camp Lejuene, NC. I'm recently a new published author about my time as a Marine Sniper & discuss the mindset of how we are expected to be able to switch our brains &/or emotions off as we're supposed to be some sort of light switch from a high combat tempo to a caring hypo-vigilant, docile, loving, sympathetic, empathetic, doting husband &/or father immediately once returning home from combat & missions. This often contributes to depression, anxiety, hyper-vigilance, OCD, paranoia, alcohol & drug abuse, anger, high divorce rates, PTSD & sadly most often, suicide, as a last & only resort. I've treated my fellow Brothers & Sister's since 2005 as a AOD Counselor & mostly take overflow & contract through the VA. I am currently Happily Married to my Ride or Die Soul-Mate AJ - Amanda for the last 16 yrs & we have 4 beautiful children ages from; 14 - boy, 17 - Girl/Gender Fluid/LGBTQIA+, 18 - boy & our oldest 25 - boy. I am very lucky to have met such a loving, accepting, compassionate & supportive wife & best friend. I'm truly blessed & humbled to call her m...(read more) |
