Our Classmate, David Flower, was killed outright from gun or small arms fire in Quang Ngai Province, South Vietnam on May 31, 1967.
In the US Army Infantry, he received the following medals: Bronze Star, Purple Heart, National Defense, Vietnam Service, Vietnam Campaign

David and my brother, Willis Johnson were best friends growing up. They both served in the Vietnam war. Unfortunately, we lost David in 1967.
David’s parents, Lucille and Ross babysat our children for many years. They were like grandparents.
