About	Mr. Korgie taught history, social studies, & economics for 33 years at Richwoods. He served in the Army during the Korean War, winning the Purple Heart, 5 Bronze Stars & 1 Silver Star for bravery in combat, and the Combat Infantryman's Badge. He also was voted Teacher of the Year for 1981 & 1983.
