Laurence A. Lincourt, Jr
Class of 1966
I graduated from SUNY at Morrisville in June 1968. I was drafted and joined the US Army in January 1969 serving for 21 years where I worked in electronics, new systems development, and training development for current, new, and future army weather systems. During my 21 years in the military I resided overseas for 5 years in Germany and 1 year in South Korea. While residing in the states, most of my time was spent serving at Redstone Arsenal, Alabama and Fort Sill, Oklahoma. Following retirement from the US Army, I earned a BS Degree in Technology and worked 23 years as a government contractor performing and managing verification and validation of software and training products developed for military fire support systems. I married my wife, Brenda, in November of 1970 while serving in Alabama and was married for 47 years. We had two children, a boy and a girl; and four grandchildren. I am now retired and living in Lawton, Oklahoma.
