About Me	I am a retired government employee. I majored in History and Spanish at Southern Methodist Uniersity in Dallas, Texas. I discovered a liberal arts degree didn't pay too well, so I went back to school and studied accounting. I met and married my wife while at SMU and she was an accounting major. We met in a ballroom dance class when we were sophomores and dated through the last three years of college. We graduated in late May 1965 and married in late June 1965. I began studying more foreign languages and then switched to accounting which I loved. We later (1969) moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma and went into accounting there. In eight years, we had two gorgeous children. In 1977, I got a job with the IRS and we moved to Lubbock, Texas. I did not like being a revenue agent and in late 1978, we moved to Maryland with the government. I was with the gvernment and moved around to several departments. My last job was for about ten years with the Office of Family Planning. I was a project officer with OFP and retired in 2009. My wife died in July of 2008 and I still miss her. I have been enjoying retirement. Both my children are grown and married and I have two terrific grandsons. I like to travel and read history which has always been my favorite subject.
