Worked in military hospitals for 21 years (Feb 1976 to Dec 1996) as a Biomedical Equipment Repairer and later as a Clinical Enginner. Was responsible for management of the medical equipment technology and coordinating the acquisition, installation, and mangement of medical devices. In my 21 years, I saw technology go from analog devices with discrete transitiors/resistors, to digital devices, through computer based medical sysetms including CT, MRIs, and Health Information Systems. During that career, I was honored to be selected to attend the Master's of Science Program at Case Western Reserve University to further my knowledge and skills in Biomedical Engineering/Clinical Engineering.
