I joined the Army and saw "home." Spent two tours at the Pentagon, two tours at Fort Meade, and two tours at Fort Belvoir. One year in Vietnam as a combat engineer platoon leader. Retired from Fort McPherson, Ga as a lieutenant colonel. Still in the Atlanta area.

Was responsible for management of the medical equipment technology and coordinating the acquisition, installation, and mangement of medical devices. In my 21 years, I saw technology go from analog devices with discrete transitiors/resistors, to digital devices, through computer based medical sysetms including CT, MRIs, and Health Information Systems. During that career, I was honored to be selected to attend the Master's of Science Program at Case Western Reserve University to further my knowledge and skills in Biomedical Engineering/Clinical Engineering.
