About	Dennis R. Allen, age 60, of Rice Lake, WI died Thursday, December 13, 2012 at his home in the care of his family and hospice. He was born October 19, 1952 in Rochelle, IL to John and Bertha (Bolhous) Allen. On October 21, 1972 he was married to Pam Hefter in Rice Lake, WI. Dennis was self employed most of his life where he was “Jack of all trades” and where he worked hard and played hard. Dennis also enjoyed fishing, golfing, riding his ATV and spending time with friends and family. Family was the most important thing in Denny’s life. He enjoyed his yearly family reunions in Illinois. Dennis is survived by his wife, Pamela Allen of Rice Lake, WI; 2 sons, Michael Allen (Sara) of Barron, WI and Gary Allen (Angie) of Rice Lake, WI; a daughter, Casey Allen (Mark) of Bloomer, WI; 4 grandchildren, Jordyn, Jayce, Leah and Karlee Allen; his mother, Bertha Kennay (Don) of Ashton, IL and a sister, Carol Saffert (Tim) of Madison, WI. He was preceded in death by a son, Dennis “D.J.” Allen, his father, John Allen, and a sister, Dianne Schultz. Funeral services were held December 17, 2012 at Appleyard’s Home for Funerals with Rev. Susan Anderson officiating.
