About	Barbara L. Lester, 51, of Rice Lake died April 18, 2003 at her home. A Mass of Christian Burial was held at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Rice Lake with the Rev. Kevin Gordon officiating. Burial was in Nora Cemetery. Mrs. Lester was born February 12, 1952 to Raleigh and Eileen (Drake) Brogan in Rice Lake where she grew up and graduated from Rice Lake High School in 1970. Barbara Lester worked at Birchwood Manufacturing and was a nurses’ aide at Rice Lake Convalescent Center. With her developing health problems, she decided to leave her job and care for her parents. On June 20, 1998 she married Edward Lester and became a homemaker. She was a former member of the Women of the Moose and enjoyed listening to music and doing arts and crafts. Barbara was a kind and caring person who really enjoyed people. She is survived by her husband, Edward, and two brothers, William of Rice Lake and Brad of Cameron.
