About Christopher Kendrick passed away at his home in Puyallup, WA on February 1, 2026, at the age of 48 years. He was born in Fontana, California on November 22, 1977 to Charles Eugene Kendrick and Susan Mary Populorum.
He attended St. Catherine of Siena Catholic School in Rialto, CA, and graduated 8th grade in 1991. He went on to Rialto High School and graduated in 1995. He received his Associates degree in drafting from ITT Technical Institute in San Bernardino, CA in 1996.
He got his dream job as a Technical Designer/draftsman for The Boeing Co., at 19 years old. In August 1997, his parents and sister, Shannon, took a road trip with him from Rialto, California to Renton, Washington to get him settled into an apartment and his new job.
Throughout his tenure with Boeing, he worked in the Renton, Everett, and the Auburn plants. His last assignment took him to the Frederickson plant, where he worked until January 30, 2026.
In July 2008, he met his love, Sara (Eddy). They married on May 12, 2012. They made their home in Renton, until they moved to the city of Puyallup in August 2012, when they purchased their first home.
In his spare time, Chris enjoyed collecting baseball cards, comic books, Hot Wheel cars, sports memorabilia, and other die-cast models. He was a talented airbrush painter, who painted his own car model bodies.
He enjoyed racing RC cars and slot cars. He was frequently found at Pacific Slot Car Raceway in Edgewood. He was also an avid pool player. He played with the American Pool Players Association (APA), “Chalking Dead” team for 9 seasons. When he changed teams, he played for the “Cuesaders” on Sundays at Culpepper’s Bar & Grill in Graham.
In May 2019, he found his dream 1966 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu. He took it to his first show at The Good Guys Car Show in Puyallup, WA. Over the years, he frequented that show with his car. In July 2025, he and all his car buddies, along with his parents and wife, travelled for the first time to the Vintiques NW National Car Show in Yakima, WA, where his car won a prize.
His family will miss his smile, his contagious laugh, his huge heart, and his unwavering loyalty to his friends. He was a kind, respectful, and gentle man.
