HUMPHREY Catherine W. "Katie" Humphrey, age 89, passed away on Sunday, March 21, 2010 at the Forum at Knightsbridge. Katie was born on July 13, 1920 in Reynoldsburg to the late William and Nellie (Scully) Ware. She is also preceded in death by her beloved husband of 60 years, William R. Humphrey and sisters Mary Ann DiNinni and Grace Martin. Katie was born and raised in the Columbus area and graduated from Reynoldsburg High School and went on to vocational schooling. She was a long time administrative assistant for the Columbus Dispatch and Clyde Williams and Associates. She retired as Dr. Novice G. Fawcett's personal assistant. Katie is survived by her loving children, Rob (Barb) Humphrey and Carol (Mark) Foor; grandchildren, Stephanie, Stacey, Christopher, Trent and Troy; nephew, John Martin; and many other family and friends. She was a member of Northwest Christian Church for over 50 years and was active in the Christian Women's Fellowship, Sunday School, Faith Mission, Bell Choir, church newsletter and church dinners. She was also a member of Eastern Star and volunteered with the Board of Elections. Katie enjoyed reading, crosswords and her monthly couple's card club. She was a positive, happy and upbeat woman because "that was the only way to be". PAELTZ Daniel Lee Paeltz, age 50, passed away Monday, March 7, 2011. He graduated from Reynoldsburg High School, the University of North Texas in 1986, he sat for and passed his CPA exam on his first attempt, was a member of the American Institute of CPA's, and the Ohio Society of CPA's. He is survived by his wife, Michele Metzler; father, Stephen Paeltz; mother, Margaret Peggy Hall, Portland, OR; brothers, Jeffrey L, Westerville, Stephen C. "Chance", Denton, TX, and Eric R., Orlando, FL; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, as well as many friends and colleagues. WEAVER Karen Lorraine Weaver, age 59, passed away on Saturday, January 30, 2010. She was born in Columbus on November 15, 1950, to the late Russell and Ethel Weaver, and she attended Reynoldsburg High School. Karen worked for the Logan County Sheriff's Office for 25 years. During her time there, she was an accomplished expert in drug enforcement, undercover narcotics, crime scene investigation, and worked closely with undercover informants. She also worked on cases involving sex crimes, gang activities, and was instrumental in several murder investigations. She retired as a detective in 2005. Karen's work helped her to be a practical person, ready for anything, and her strength is a part of her legacy she passed on to her family. She was preceded in death by her brothers Kenneth and Rickey Weaver. She is survived by her children, Sheila (Adam) Stern, and Jason Davis; siblings, Marge Busic and Don (Debbie) Weaver; grandchildren, Autrianna Mae, Zachary, Griffin, and Presley Sue; lifelong friends, Jacquie Leaser and Debbie Weaver; best friend, Lori Dorsey; and many nieces, nephews, and other friends. Karen loved to spend time and party with her friends, especially on their annual November 11 Girls Trip to Columbus. She also loved her family, and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, taking them to special places and making them pancakes. Karen was very artistic, and she was gifted in crafts, drawings, and flower arrangements. She also loved Elvis music and live entertainment. GUENTHER - Michael Chad Guenther, 24, of Pataskala, Ohio, passed away suddenly on September 24, 2009. He was born on June 25, 1985 in Phoenix, Arizona. Michael graduated from Reynoldsburg High School in 2004 and worked at Best Lighting Products as a custom label designer. He was an avid Buckeye Fan and enjoyed fishing and camping. WHEELER Alan F. Wheeler, age 51, died Friday, February 6, 2009 after a long illness. Preceded in death by mother Marjorie (Jones) Wheeler, father Okie D. Wheeler, and brother Darwin H. Wheeler. Survived by son, Thomas A. Wheeler; sister, Anona K. Wheeler; brother-in-law, Thomas E. Greene; best friend, Vincent Jusko; nieces, nephews and many friends. His beloved cats, Chester and Doris, also survive him. Alan was born in December 7, 1957 in Reynoldsburg, Oh., where he lived most of his life. He graduated from The Ohio State University with a B.F.A. and served in the United States Air Force Reserve. Alan was well known on Usenet newsgroups as his alter egos, the infamous JM Hunter and later as Dr. Harvie Wahl-Banghor. In newsgroups such as alt.paranoia.jm-hunter-is-stalking-me and alt.aol-sucks, he was legendary for quick wit, biting sarcasm, and ability to flame with the best of them. He will be missed very much by his family and friends. There will be no calling hours and a private memorial service will be held at a later date. She is preceded in death by her parents Robert William and Mary Juanita (Voris) Schrader, and sister Cheryl Rose. She is survived by her husband of 37 years, David; children, Cary (Brian) Vanhorn, Davey (Cathy) Roby, Tina (Chris) Bissel, and Devon (Joel Westbrook) Roby; 12 grandchildren; brothers Rick (Jeanette) Ruffner and Rob (John Higgins) Schrader; many nieces, nephews, aunts, cousins, and friends. DALTON Brian Dalton, 52, of Gahanna, OH, passed away on Thursday, February, 24, 2011 with his loving family at his side. Brian was born on January 20, 1959 in Emporia Kansas to Wanda (Ciboski) Dalton and the late Leo Dalton. At an early age, Brian and his family moved to Ohio, and he graduated from Reynoldsburg High School, Class of '78. After graduation he attended Franklin University, and graduated with a B.A. Degree in Business Administration. He began his career with the State Judiciary System over 23 years ago, as the Office Manager for the Supreme Court of Ohio, Court of Claims division. Brian was an avid sports fan and Notre Dame junky. If Notre Dame was playing, he and his sons were watching. But above all his family came first. He attended the Peace Lutheran Church in Gahanna for over 6 years. Brian was not only a positive role model for his sons, he was an inspiration to his coworkers and friends. Throughout his career he touched the lives of many people and they are now better because of him. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him. Along with his mother Wanda, Brian is survived by his wife, Debbie Dalton; sons, Ryan, Daniel, and Ben; siblings, Geralyn (Geoff) Ludwig, Col. Kent (Jenny) Dalton, Sheila (Lt. Col. Dan) Daniels, Craig (Christine) Dalton; parents-in-law, Dave (Barb) Falkenberg; sister-in-law, Chris Falkenberg, brother-in-law, Mike (Marie) Falkenberg. Brian Lee McGlone, 46, died June 4 at his home in Reynoldsburg after a battle with cancer.
A 1978 graduate of Reynoldsburg High School, Mr. McGlone attended Ohio State and Cleveland State universities.
He is survived by his mother, Betty; sisters, Lesley Puett, Caryl (Scott) Barrett; brother, Kevin; nieces and nephew, Jennifer and Kelly Puett, Vanessa and Jamie McGlone, Matthew and Kaitlyn Barrett.

Chris passed away unexpectedly on September 15, 2006 at the age of 30. He graduated in 1994. He later joined the Navy where he traveled around the world and eventually ended being a part of Iraqi freedom. Chris was a loving, kind person who loved being surrounded by friends and family.
