| About Me | I had epilepsy for 20 years from the age of two until I was 22. My seizures were controlled until i was 20 and then I started having more seizures, to the point I was having 24 to 36 seizures a day. I was taking 2700 miligrams of medication a day. I couldn't be left alone and i couldn't even go to the bathroom alone. 9-24-97 I had the surgery and had one more seizure because of the trauma from the surgery. I have been seizure free since...started being taken off my meds soon after that. It isn't something I take for granted because I know I was one of the lucky ones.Positive things happen to Positive people.
