| About Me | I've just survived one of the most challenging and difficult years of my life, and I'm sure it was nothing compared to what many others experience: spouse being hospitalized multiple times, moving out of our home of 43 yrs and landing back on our feet in a new location near our youngest daughter. All is mostly well and we are blessed to have the opportunity to now enjoy time together in a new community of lovely neighbors and a great park and hiking trail. We really enjoy our newly remodeled home and even find it interesting/fun to solve conundrums and repair some little things that are broken but that we can still make functional. It stimulates the brain and forces us to exercise, twisting our limbs in awkward ways, climbing ladders we shouldn't, lifting and reaching heights we didn't think possible, surprising one another as we meet new challenges in retirement.
