LCDR Waldo Wayne Wilson. USN (Ret)
Class of 1946
Navy, 20+ Years
Enlisted at age 14 in 1943. Pormoted thru the ranks to chief Quartermaster. Commissioned an officer Jan 1960. retired a Lieutenant Commander in 1974. Served primarily in Destroyers and Submarines. After retiring from naval service continued a sea going life as a captain in the merchant marine for 18 yrs. Completed GED test in 1946 upon completion of WWII. presently living in Encinitas, Calif.

Our Redondo High School military alumni are some of the most outstanding people we know and this page recognizes them and everything they have done! Not everyone gets to come home for the holidays and we want our Redondo High School Military to know that they are loved and appreciated. All of us in Redondo Beach are proud of our military alumni and want to thank them for risking their lives to protect our country!
