Stationed at NAS Oceana Virginia. Worked as a Dispatcher for Master at Arms, also worked at Security as one of the first female guards on the gates, went into Navy at end of Vietnam war. Spent the next 24 years with former husband who was career military Navy.

First served as Medic for 132 engineers National Guard in Red Bluff. Joined active Army in 1980.Went to Airborne school, then went through Special Forces training,earned my Green Beret in 1981. Served as Senior Medic on an A-Team with 10th Special Forces Group in Fort Devens, Massachusetts
