| About Me | I am 57 yrs old and have been married 40 yrs to my handsome hubby, Richard. We have 2 grown children, our son, Richard, Jr. (39) and our daughter, Jamie (37). We also are raising our great neice and nephew, Joey (18) and Cindy (17). They are both a joy and a challenge! LOL! But...MAN!!! Do I really feel my age with them!!! We are hoping to adopt them sometime in the future ...just don't have the funds right now. I have been on disability since 1996 due to a work related injury...I hurt my cervical and my lumbar spine and my left shoulder. I do have alot of mobility problems and I live with chronic pain and muscle spasms on a daily basis now. I have mostly good days and some bad ones...somedays the pain and all, can just get too overwhelming...My family is what keeps me going. We have been blessed with 13 beautiful grandchildren. Our handsome son, Richard, and our lovely daughter in law, Misty, have 3 handsome boys...Nicholas, Douglas and Matthew and a beautiful young lady, Taylor Brooke. Our lovely daughter, Jamie, has 4 handsome boys...Justin, Chase, Adam and Aaron. And one beautiful little princess, Laurynn Nicole. Jamie's hubby, Derek, has a son,Jacob, from his previous marriage. We also have 3 from my daughter's previous marriage...Paul, Jr., Alyssa and Daniel. That makes us have 11 boys and 3 girls! I am a native Houstonian and Texan of course! LOL!
