David Michael Phillips, 25, of Ravenswood, died Feb. 21, 1996 of injuries sustained in a skiing accident at Timberline Ski Resort, Tucker County, WV.
He was born at Gallipolis, OH, on October 7, 1970, a son of Herbert Theodore Phillips and Katherine Ann (Donnelly) Phillips.
He was a 1988 graudate of Ravenswood High School and a graduate of WVU-P with an associate degree in industrial maintenance. He was employed by Ravenswood Aluminum Corporation as a machinist in the Roll Shop and was a member of United Steel Workers of America, Local #5668.
He is survived by his parents, Herbert and Katherine Phillips of Ravenswood; sister, Sharon Kaye Phillips of Columbus, OH; maternal grandfather, John W. Donnelly of Ravenswood.
