Coast Guard, 7 Years
US Coast Guard is Semper Paratus, which means always ready.
We are like the police, fire fighters and paramedic, but only on the water.
People see us more as a law enforcement agency because we aren't always in the public eye as well as we fall under the Department of Homeland Security rather than Department of Defense. We do more than just guard the Coast Guard. We travel all over the World in order to protect our Country from drug traffickers as well as illegal immigrants.
