About Me	I was born in Fort Leavenworth, Kansas where my dad was stationed at the time. I lived in Arkansas (twice), Kansas (twice), Colorado (five times), California (three times), & Hawaii (twice). I was in the U.S. Navy for three years, serving first on the deck force, then as the ship's public information assistant and ship's photographer. Two of my sons were born in Long Beach, CA., my third son in Thornton, Colorado. I worked for Chrysler Corporation's Los Angeles assembly plant for a year before returning to Colorado. I hired out on the Denver & Rio Grande Western RR (which later was absorbed into the Union Pacific RR), but worked various places for the first two winters, including Douglas Aircraft's Santa Monica, CA plant and the Southern Pacific RR, before gaining enough seniority on the Rio Grande to stay in Colorado. I worked as a switchman, trainman, & conductor over much of the state, finishing out at Colorado Springs before retirement and my subsequent move back to Hawaii. I had attended Honolulu Academy of Arts while in high school and the Rocky Mountain School of Arts after High School. I was a wildlife artist and photographer, part-time and I now draw and paint in my home studio and sell through a couple of galleries on the island. Most of my artwork is of island scenery, but I also draw and paint portraits and figures as well. Divorced from my first wife, my present wife is the former Geri Rose Lynch who is one-half Hawaiian, but was partly raised in Colorado and also attended the same school as I did in Colorado.
