| About Me | I returned to NC in September 2020, and divide my time between Elkin and Oak Island. I'm fortunate to work remotely first as the CFO (Chief Financial Officer), then August 2023, as the COO (Chief Operating Officer), and effective May 2024 as the President/COO for ACE (American Conservation Experience), a national conservation nonprofit ($41+ million annual budget) headquartered in Flagstaff, AZ. 2018 to 2020, I was the CFO of People for People, a leading not-for-profit organization ($22 million annual budget), in Yakima, WA. Prior to People for People, I worked as a CFO at various non-profit entities in Great Falls, MT (2008-2018). And worked as an accountant at various CPA firms and companies in Great Falls, MT (2005-2008). Previously (2011-2018), I was an online adjunct Professor of Accounting and Business at Great Falls College-Montana State University (GFC-MSU). Since 2006, I am the President (Business Owner) of a LLC that provides professional accounting and income tax preparation services to Nonprofit Corporations, S-Corps, LLC's, C-Corps, Trust, Estate, and individuals. Prior to 2005, I resided most of my life in North Carolina. I worked for US Airways for almost fourteen years as well as a couple of CPA firms.
