| About Me | The most wonderful things in life are unseen, that is why we close our eyes when we kiss, pray, and dream. Getting to know someone as complicated as myself could take a while, however, if you are willing to take the time, here it is in a nutshell.... I am the product of a military family with divorced parents. I am the middle child of three and the eldest daughter. My highschool years were spent in a slightly rebellious state, surprisingly, while maintaining high academic standards. I went to college at VCU, right in the heart of Richmond, where I thought I wanted to spend the rest of my life. As I am getting older, I am finding that is not necessarily true. I would love to live by the water. I feel at home and natural when I am near water. I work full time as a Trainer at Victory Lady Fitness Center and part-time at The Dominion Club as a server/bartender. I plan to go back to school at some point soon. I enjoy singing at the top of my lungs and dancing until my whole body aches. I love spending time outdoors, road trips, and getting my blood pumping. Running has a way of clearing my mind and quieting my soul. I like strong coffee, loud music, and anything that goes fast. I am a bit of an adrenaline junkie. What's the point of living your life if you are not willing to do it on the edge? I like cooking almost as much as I like to eat,(I am italian after all). My favorite color is purple, and my favorite flowers are gerber daisies. I write poetry, mainly because my brain lacks the capacity to contain all of the mundane thoughts that inhabit it...and somehow, they don't seem as crazy when I get them down on paper. I am a hopeless romantic, I believe in true love, and the fact that people deserve second chances. I believe in GOD, I have seen him work in my life and I know he has my best interest in mind, even when I don't always have his. I feel compelled to help people. I am a firm believer in karma, and that a smile is the best medicine known to man. I am an optimistic person who can see the good in almost any situation. Even after being taken advantage of so many, many times. I have a problem with authority a lot of the time, and a giant fear of letting people down. I have a tendency to set my goals extremely high, to keep myself motivated. If it so happens I don't reach them, I react irratically. Unlike most, I welcome change with open arms. To me, change is good. I enjoy challenges, because without them, how would we know what we are really capable of? I love my family, especially my younger sister, even though she may not realize just how much. I miss my friends, a lot. Life gets busy, and I feel I do not keep up with them as much as I should. I am looking to start a family of my own one day, however, I am not in a hurry. *wink, wink*. Other than that, I am just your normal everyday girl. But, if you are looking to get to know me, stop by and say hello. But pleas...(read more) |
