I served over 23 years in the Navy as a Surface Warfare Officer; retiring from the Navy in 2007 at the rank of Commander. I served in a number of ships stationed on the east, west and gulf coasts. It was a great opportunity to serve my country and travel around the world.

Served 34 years.,12 as enlisted and 22years as officer. Retired as CDR(0-5) Served on Aircraft Carries, Submarines, Last tour of duty was with Naval Special Warfare Command in San Diego, CA. Live in Mesa, AZ, working and enjoying life.

Concurrently served as a drilling reservist and Army Reserve Technician in Schenectady, West Palm Beach and Birmingham. Active Guard Reserve assignments in Alaska, the Army Reserve Personnel Center and the Office of the Chief, Army Reserve. Served as the Army Reserve representative on the Army Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC) study groups of 1988, 1991 and 1995. Final assignment was as the Liaison Officer to the Joint Staff for the US Atlantic Command and the Supreme Allied Commander, Atlantic. This was a NATO command. Graduate of the
Air War College. Awarded the Legion of Merit.
