Marine Corps, 5 Years
After completing O.C.S. at Quantico, VA, completed U.S. Naval Flight School in Pensacola. Served as a Tactical & Nuclear weapons delivery pilot with Marine Attack Squadron - 331 where I flew the A-4 Skyhawk. While training a newly winged pilot, I was forced to make a high-speed, low-altitude ejection from 50 feet at 400 kts. After spending the last year of my service in a hospital, I was discharged at the rank of Captain. Like many of my Plant High Brothers, the time I spent in the Marine Corps was the proudest time of my life.
