Enlisted at the start of the Korean conflict, took infantry basic, Signal OCS, and served as an instructor in the OCS. Made training films for the Army, built and ran an Armed Forces radio and TV station in Iran, graduated from Command and General Staff College, served in Vietnam, Retired as a Lieutenant Colonel.
