| Favorite School Memory | I graduated from Colfax High School, but went to Placer Hills Elementary School where some of the children went to Placer High and some went to the new high school in Colfax. I was in the first 4-year graduating class at that school |
| About Me | After graduating from Colfax High, I enrolled at Sierra College to study forestry. After Sierra, I went on to Humboldt State College again to continue my education in forestry and engineering. After HSU, Yale offered me a full-ride fellowship and I gave up flying jets for the Air Force and continued my education in Forestry. After graduation, I went to work for a forest products company and worked my up the "food chain" retiring in 2006 as the President and CEO. I have written six coffee-table style books on local history which has put me in touch with many interesting people. A couple of years ago, I wrote a biography of my memories growing up in Placer County - Eden Valley.
