| About Me | Aloha from Hawaii, Wow - where have the 30 years gone? Well as you may have been aware, my Senior year was not my finest hour. Fortunately, I matured and turned my life around. The "Cliff Notes" version of my life since highschool is that I tooled around Europe, Alaska and Napa Valley for several years and finally ended up graduating with 2 degrees, I've never used, from California State University Long Beach. I met my soul-mate my junior year and we married after graduation. As she is a "local girl" (from Hawaii), we moved to Maui. We've lived here 20 years now. After 10 years of marriage my wife pursuaded me to have a child. I finally gave in to her ticking biological clock. While my wife is the love of my life, my daughter is the joy of my life. She is 11 and enrolled in a S.T.E.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering & Math) Academy. As I am not the sharpest knife in the drawer, it is difficult to keep up with her. She is a computer whiz. As far as employment goes, I put myself though college waiting tables and then made this occupation my career. I worked my way up to fine dining and did very well financially. I was head waiter and maitre d' and even worked at a five star restaurant. I finished my career at the Four Seasons Resort, Maui. Through the years I made some good investments and was able to retire 12 years ago. We are not wealthy, just comfortable. It was important to find a balance between spending time with the people I care about and just accumulating money. Presently, most of my time is spent caring for my daughter, collecting antiques, and restoring my historic home. The home is from the 1920s and belonged to the station master of the Maui Railroad. Antiques are my passion and my house resembles a museum. Truthfully, I am doubtful that I will ever make it to a class reunion. However, it seems that everybody someday ends up vacationing on Maui.
