Class of 1980

I got married October 9, 1982. To Colleen Benofski who graduated from Healdsburg high in 1980. I kept progressing in the auto body trade. We had two girls along the way. The oldest Rachelle is married and gave birth to 4 beautiful grand kids. The youngest, Chelsea went on to become an RN. 25 years ago we started our own Successful auto body shop in Santa Rosa called John’s Auto Body. We were finally able to purchase the property that our body shop is located on. 770 Mark West Springs Rd. Santa Rosa. Unfortunately after making our first payment on October 1st 2017 was soon followed by the Tubbs Fire that was on our actual wedding anniversary. 10/09/2017. On that night we lost our body shop along with the two rental houses, and to add to it we lost the home we live in, in coffee park. Our house is rebuilt, our shop is on the way to recovery. Very long permit processes. That’s the long story short version of our story.
