| About Me | Just been sitting around waiting for the phone to ring. My almost first job out of college was getting elected to the Piedmont City Council and becoming the Mayor. I skipped a generation and got out parents to vote for me. I have also been a county commissioner, active in regional government and served in three administrations in Sacramento. I have been involved for years in running my family's business, and in more recent years fighting off my relatives and their lawyers as a trustee and executor. It is true that death does bring out the vultures. Also, greed and stupidity are a toxic combination. For the past decade I have spent a large amount of my time taking care of my Dad (now deceased) and Mom (age 95) because it is the right thing to do.
