One of PHS'S great 3 sport athletes passed away eleven days short of his 61st birthday..Donald Lyle Perkins quarterbacked the '66 Highlanders to an FALchampionship..he was starting guard on the basketball team that was blitzing the FAL until teammate Tom Henderson was injured...He finished his senior year as an all league baseball player and as PHS athlete of the year. Don is survived by his brother, Tom, Class of '67 and his sister, Terri, Class of '69.
