Favorite School Memory	I really liked/respected almost all of my teachers, loved playing my horn and band music [still do] as well as GAA and participating in various clubs, wish I'd been more studious in French class since going to France twice, loved the musicals at PHS, especially our class's "Oklahoma" and those where my dad taught at Bay View HS in Milwaukee. The event that most influenced the rest of my life, however, was going to Brazil as an AFS student for the summer of '66, where I experienced my first multicultural society, attempted coup, extreme wealth inequality and what a lack of health care and social safety nets meant: such as young children diving into garbage cans for a piece of thrown-away hamburger or leg-less people walking on their hands selling pencils to make minuscule amounts of money.
