Hello Pennsbury High School Class of 1974, Today, Pennsbury will hold its 76th Commencement. Seven hundred nineteen students comprise the class of 2024 and are projected to graduate. It should be a sun-filled exciting and memorable day for the graduates. Exactly 50 years ago (June 11, —Twenty-Sixth Commencement), Pennsbury’s Class of ’74 graduated 1085, which, according to Pennsbury’s records, was the largest Pennsbury graduating class, a rather unique distinction. Regardless of the numbers, however, it certainly was an exciting and memorable day for all of us (If you remember, it was quite hot that day). Our class had many reasons and activities to celebrate, driven by students, teachers, administrators, and support personnel: athletics, jazz band, marching band, chorus, drama team, prom, ski trips, sports “nite,” talent show, trips abroad, etc. Many of you captured your memories with photographs you took between 1972 and 1974. Our upcoming October 4 & 5 reunion weekend will afford us the opportunity to enjoy those memories at the banquet.
