Retta Stanley

Capt. Retta Stanley, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. L.R. Stanley, Levering served in Qui Nhon, Vietnam as a nurse at the 85th Evacuation Hospital. The 85th was a direct receiving hospital for battle casuaities mainly from the Demilitarized Zone and the central highlands. Captain Stanley was head nurse of three post-operative wards. Stanley was a 1961 graduate of Pellston High School. Upon graduation she enrolled and graduated from The Butterworth Hospital School of Nursing in Grand Rapids.

I am an Infantry squad in Bco 1/5 Infantry. Stationed I. Fairbanks Alaska. I've done two combat tours In Iraq in 2003-2004 and 2005-2006 I also did a combat deployment in Afghanistan in 2008-2009. And I am gearing up for another I. Afghanistan in a few months. I am married with a beautiful baby daughter and I am going to fighting the Insurgents untill we wipe then clean off the earth. I am addicted to war and I've lost to many friends to quit
this career. Infantry leads from the front.
