| About Me | Professionally, worked for a federal judge, as a federal prosecutor, then counsel to GovernorMoore. Moved into private sector, larger law firm in Charleston for ten years, then started my own firm (Bailey & Glasser) with one other lawyer, one investigator, and a secretary. Now have 100 or so lawyers in several states and DC; opened an office in London this week - Aug of 2026. I keep trying to slow down, with intermittent success. Personally, got married in 1985, had two wonderful sons, Graham and Brent; divorced in 2002. Married Sarah in 2006. Son Graham married Alison, based in Pittsburgh. Son Brent and wife Kate in NY now. Sarah and I have two beautiful daughters, Stella (born 2009) and Elise (2011), both in high school in Charleston. Got together with rowing team in summer of 2013, and rowed together for our 60th birthdays - John Wiseman, Dave Tuel, Bob Walters, Kevin Kimble, Greg Hardman, Andy Muldoon, Les Pritchard and Marv Orem. We lost Marv in 2017. The rest of us keep up by email now; Bob, Andy and I text every couple of days. Rowed again together in 2022 with Bob, Les, Greg and Kevin, ably assisted by Rick West and Roger Sheppard. Mom and Dad both passed away in their 90s, after 65 years of marriage. Awesome lives. All my brothers and sister are well and happy, in Morgantown and WV. We all still speak to and enjoy each other regularly. All four of us and kids and their kids - 19 of us - got together at my house on Lake Norman two weeks ago and had a blast. I have a full life, and am thankful everyday ...(read more) |
