(I remember this so well)
Kim was 21 years old & Sometime between 1977 and 1980;;;
N Oct. 14: A car apparently driven by
Joseph P. Galauner, 23, of 1609 Gartland,
speeds out of the Rock River Parking Plaza in
downtown Janesville onto Milwaukee Street
with its tires squealing. The car fishtails, hits
a curb and flies into the bridge, knocking out an
8-foot section of cement railing and plunging
into the river.
Killed are Galauner and passenger Kim
VanCura, 21, of 2031 Alexandria. Their bodies are not found for weeks in the
muddy,swift-flowing river.
