He is survived by his parents, Dr. Jim & Bonnie Martin of Lithonia; sister & brother-in-law, Marilyn & Brant Schafer of Lilburn, GA, and a host of other relatives and friends.
A funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 28, 2009 at the First Baptist Church of Monroe with remains placed in state at noon. Todd Ware and Dr. Stephen Powers will officiate.
Interment will follow at Hillandale Memorial Park in Lithonia, GA.
