Ed was a year ahead of me, but since I was a wrestler, I frequently saw the basketball team practicing during the week. Eddie was our best player on the team. He was very competitive and was recognized as a top player throughout the conference we played in. I came to most of our games and watched him lead our team to many wins. We had a very good team and Eddie was the top scorer and rebound man. He was a real team player, softspoken, but very competitive when playing.
I am very sorry to hear of his passing. May he rest in peace.
