Jenn Epstein
Class of 2002
After graduating in 2002 Jenn Epstein went on to college at the Savannah College of Art and Design majoring in visual effects. Jenn Epstein graduated a year early, in 2005, with honors and additional awards for her service in the student government, leadership and volunteer work in kiwanis, and work as managing editor of the student newspaper.
After graduating in 2005 Jenn Epstein moved across the country to follow her dreams of becoming a digital compositor on major motion pictures and has been able to grasp that dream. She has three and half years visual effects industry experience working on both major motion pictures, commercials, and tv shows. Her first compositing job on the music video "Fuego" won a telly award. Three of the films she has worked on have been nominated for best visual effects (The Golden Compass, Transformers, and Pirates of the Caribbean 3: At World's End), with the Golden Compass taking home the Oscar.
Jenn Epstein has worked on over 13 major films, and her name can be seen in the end credits as a digital artist of some of these films. She has also worked on commercials for companies like LG and tv shows like Smallville. Her work can also be see at a new Ferrari Theme park in Abu Daubi on a Ferrari ride as well as in the short films shown at the Las Vegas Springs Preserve in Las Vegas.
Jenn Epstein continues her dream and art as a digital compositor in Los Angeles, and hopes to be able to work around the world at different visual effects studios enhancing her skills and following her love of creation in art.
