| About Me | After graduating from high school I attended Palomar Jr. College. After completing my general college prep. classes I earned a B.A. degree in U.S. History from the University of San Diego (1982). It was when I was attending school at the University of New Mexico (1976) the LORD, through a tract, called me to himself and chose me for his own. I returned to Escondido in 1977. I went through the denominational journey of trying to find a church, but came to understand; however, the LORD is NOT working through denominationalism but his elect saints via the Holy Spirit. This November 29th will be 42 years since that humbling moment back in 1976. I have been employed in the landscape field for over 30+ years. My experience has ranged from having a landscape business of my own to working for various landscape contractors. I have held positions as a laborer, Landscape Maintenance Worker II for the City of Poway, a drought field specialist consulting the citizens of Poway on drought strategies. I also worked in several plant nurseries (Growing Grounds from 1977-1979 and Armstrong Garden Centers) as a nursery professional, Third-key, advanced nursery professional, plant designer, and salesman from the years 2002-2004. My first marriage produced seven children from 1983-1997 (14 yrs.). I never anticipated divorce. I didn't seek it. It came my way, despite my best efforts to preserve it. I met my second wife in 2001 at Emmanuel Faith in Escondido. We moved to Nebraska in 2004. Omaha, Nebraska is where my wife was born and grew up. We moved there to purchase a home. That could never happen in California. I authored a book on Bible prophecy in 2011. This project commenced in 1990 and produced the fruit of a hard copy book in 2011. This year, 2018, it will be converted into an e-book through Publishing Wholesale, the book's distributor and marketer. It's a definite game changer. I owe it all to Jesus.
