About	FRANKLINTON, NC: Lance W. Rehberg, age 45, resident of Franklinton, North Carolina and longtime Mansfield area resident died suddenly Tuesday, December 21, 2010 at the home of his brother in Mansfield, following an apparent heart attack. Born January 3, 1965 in Ashland, Ohio to Frederick and Joyce (Shaum) Rehberg, he had been a Mansfield - Lexington area resident most of his life, moving to Franklinton, NC in 2008. A 1983 graduate of Ontario High School, he held an associates degree in Drafting and Design from NCSC as well as a bachelor's in Business Administration and Management from Ashland University. Lance was a 23-year employee of CenturyLink as a draftsman and engineer. He will be remembered for his strong work ethic, his humorous presence, and his love of cars. He enjoyed golf, bowling, softball, playing pool and euchre. A car enthusiast, he enjoyed classic cars, NASCAR racing and Indy pace cars. An avid Oakland Raiders fan, he also enjoyed watching the Ohio State Buckeyes. The mutual adoration for his nieces and nephews was immeasurable. A mentor to not only his nieces, nephews but also his family friends' children, Lance was an "uncle" to all. Survivors include two brothers, Derek (Tammy) Rehberg of Mansfield, and Vince (Jennifer) Rehberg of Shelby; his twin sister, Lori (David) Barnett of Mansfield; his nieces and nephews, Stephen, Dara, Ricky, Warren and Westen Rehberg, Kelsey and David W. Barnett; his aunt, Minnie Lyons of Stockbridge, Georgia; three cousins, Vikki Pfaff, Troy and Blake "Chip" Lyons; and many loving friends.
