Described as a woman of God and a devoted mother with a giving spirit, Cheree Eileen Ryan finished her race and has kept her faith. She is now in the presence of her loving Lord. Cheree passed away Saturday evening, May 2, 2026 following an extended illness.
The daughter of Donald and Carrol (Tingley) Ryan, Cheree was born March 14, 1967. She was a 1985 Ontario High School graduate and continued her education at the Mt. Vernon Nazarene University where she earned her degree in Psychology.
Before her most recent role as the caregiver to her parents, Cheree worked for Peco II, Church Directory and was a manager at McDonalds.
She had attended Mansfield Open Bible Church where she had been a member of the Women of God women’s group. Over the years she volunteered at the church and earlier in life served on a few missions trips.
Tender-hearted and giving, she absolutely loved her role as mother. Aaron, her son, was her life.
Cheree enjoyed crocheting and knitting. She remained connected with close high school and college friends. Her laugh was irreplaceable, and her heart larger than life.
Cheree is survived by her son Aaron Ryan of Crestline; brother Zane Ryan of Galion; numerous cousins and extended family; as well as Shane Shipley.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
