About	Richard Beer, 67, passed away on Sunday, September 10, 2023 at Life’s Journey of Avon. He was born on October 4, 1955 in Shelby, OH to Dick and Lucille Beer, the youngest of four siblings. He graduated from Morehead State University and received a Juris Doctorate from Duquesne University. On December 2, 1978 he married Elaine Arnold. Rich was an environmental engineer at coal-fired power plants most of this life. Fiercely independent, Rich and Elaine built their own home in Pennsylvania prior to moving to Indiana. He is survived by his beloved wife of 44 years, Elaine; sons Zachary (Katherine) and Douglas (Ada) Beer; sisters Linda (Bob) Eyerly, Kathy (Doug) Lampert, and Rita (Jim) Myers; grandchildren Jacob, Arielle, and Vesper; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
