About	Martin W. Scheff, 66, of Mason City passed away on Wednesday, May 1, 2024 at his home with his family by his side. He was born on May 6, 1957 in Tiffin, OH to William and Marcella (Clark) Scheff. On June 4, 1991 in Las Vegas, NV he married Brenda Saeger, she preceded him in death in 2012. Martin is survived by his daughter Kari (Frank) Mead of St. Hedwig, TX, 2 grandchildren: Franklin and Kearsi Mead, brother Mark (Alayne) Scheff of Springfield, a sister, brother-in-law, Paul, and his faithful companion, Ralphie, his dog. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Brenda, 2 brothers: Philip Scheff at only 17 months old and Michael Scheff, at only 17 years old, his in-laws, Ollie and Ruby Saeger, and brother-in-law Michael Saeger. Martin was a 1981 graduate of the University of Cincinnati. He worked for the State of Illinois in the Central Management Services, eventually retiring. He enjoyed golfing, Jeopardy and all things trivia, socializing at the taverns in town, and laughing and being ornery. He was loved by everyone.
