Brian Landrew Casler, 35, of Mansfield, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, October 6, 2012.
Brian was born on June 2, 1977 in Mansfield to Emmet "Tim" and Ingrid Sloboda Casler. He will always be remembered for his kind and gentle spirit as a loving son, brother, and friend to all who knew him. He attended Mansfield Christian School and graduated from Ontario High School through Pioneer Joint Vocational in 1996. He was a manager of Woodville Apartments, a member of St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church, and a member of the Liederkranz and Pleasant Hill Boat Club. Brian was an expert swimmer, who competed in many events from Kindergarten through twelfth grade. He enjoyed motorcycles, motocross, bmx biking, wave runners, pontoon boating, snowboarding, skiing, hiking, cooking, grilling, and spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his mother, Ingrid Sloboda Casler of Mansfield; three siblings, Robin (Casler) and Bill Summers, Christopher Casler and Laura Casler; four nephews, Konner, Joshua, Aaron, and Tyler; and his faithful canine companion, Blade.
Brian was preceded in death by his father, Tim Casler on April 12, 2011; his maternal grandparents, Gustav and Anna Echelle Sloboda; and his paternal grandparents, Emmet O. Casler and Eula Wellman Vigneron.
