About	LUECKEL (nee Bowman) Amy L. Lueckel, age 43, of Westerville, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, December 21, 2009. Amy was born on September 25, 1966, in Crestline, Ohio, to Carl and Beth Bowman. Amy was a graduate of Ontario High School and then attended Ohio Wesleyan University for 2 years. She went on to receive her Bachelors Degree in English from The Ohio State University. After college she was employed by AT&T as a technical writer, where she met her husband, Rick. She was currently employed at Outreach Christian School in New Albany as a preschool teacher. Amy immersed herself in her girls' activities and in the community. She was the Leader in Girl Scout Troops 1077 and 2595 and served as Service Unit Leader and Day Camp Director. Amy put in extensive hours as the seamstress and prop master for the Generations Performing Arts Center, where her girls dance. She found joy in sewing and quilting which were passed on to her from her grandmothers. Amy and Rick shared their love for Disney World, going there on their honeymoon and family vacations. Amy and Rick visited France where she had the opportunity to practice her French studies. She was a member of Peace Lutheran Church where she taught vacation bible school and Sunday School. She is survived by her loving husband of 17 years, Rick; cherished daughters, Abigail (Abby) and Katharine (Katie); parents, Carl and Beth; sister, Serena (Barry) White and their daughter, Amanda; brother-in-law, Bill Lueckel
