About	Melinda, a.k.a. Mindy Crawford, of Tavares, Florida, left this Earth Wednesday, January 8th and entered into eternal life. Mindy was born May 13th, 1953, in Mansfield, Ohio. She was the youngest child of R Sam and Zella Spayde. Mindy grew up with 3 brothers and one sister in the town of Bellville, Ohio. Where she spent the summer’s at Gatton Rocks in the water & trying to rule the countryside. She loved to scare her sister on a regular basis with snakes, Nightcrawlers, spiders and any other crawly animal she thought would scare her. She was a Tomboy through-and-through. But had a heart of gold. Mindy graduated from Ontario High School In August of 1971. She entered the United States Navy in August of 1971. She retired in 1993, with 22 years service. In 1998 she went to work for Walgreens retiring in 2017. Mindy is survived by her husband of thirty-eight years. Dennis Crawford. Siblings. Frank & Janet Spayde of Florida. Sam & Tammy Spayde of Missouri. Ed & Yoly Spayde of San Diego and one sister Wendy Eddleblute of Mansfield, Ohio. Two brother in laws Larry Bauer & Craig Crawford of Florida. Her fur buddy’s Buster Shadow and Molly. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother-in-law Roger Eddleblute and her nephew Roger Eddleblute Jr. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
