About	Joan Reed, 72, of Mansfield, went home to be with her Lord on Friday, October 11, 2024. She was born July 17, 1952, in Marion to Anthony and Vadna (Taylor) Fix. Joan graduated from Ontario High School in 1971. She met her childhood sweetheart, Roger, in 1962 and on November 28, 1970, they married. She was a homemaker and a family person. Joan also babysat children for many years. She loved children and her family was her life. She loved being around people. Joan took great pleasure in attending the grandkids sporting events. She enjoyed outdoor gardening, crocheting, and crossword puzzles and was an avid bowler. She was a member of West Jefferson Baptist Church. Joan is survived by her husband, Pastor Roger Reed; children, Roger W. (Michelle) Reed and Jennifer E. (Kenny) Vollmer; grandchildren, Brandon, Hailey, and Ethan Reed, Lindsi and Paige Sullivan, and Jordan Elizabeth Vollmer; brothers, Tommy (Margie) Fix, Jimmy (Carol) Fix, and Billy (Dorothy) Fix; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; in-laws, Merle and Phyllis Reed; father-in-law, Doyle White; and brother, Eddie Fix.

Roger, I'm so sorry to of Joan's passing, however we know she is in heaven smiling down.
May she rest in peace.
