About	“It is with heavy hearts that our family announces the passing Lori Kay Barnett. She was an incredibly creative person who loved to sing and make music wherever she went. Though she struggled with health issues she still found time for her church and to try and go through life the best way she could. She was a beloved aunt, sister, mother, and friend. She was Miss Ontario in 1983 and remained active in the community for many years. She is survived by her 3 children, grandchildren, brothers, and their families; as well as nephews, great nieces and nephews, and many friends. Please keep our families in your hearts and prayers. We are trying to work through this difficult time and will need to heal. Thank you all for the love and support. “ From Trubune-Courier (9-7-23) Lori Kay Barnett was a caring mother, sister, grandmother, aunt, and friend. She was born to Frederick and Joyce (Shaum) Rehberg on Jan 3, 1965 in Ashland OH, along with her twin brother, Lance Rehberg. She proudly held the crown of Miss Ontario 1982, and after graduating from Ontario in 1983, she continued to be an important member of the community. She went on to achieve her dreams of working in healthcare and education. She is survived by her children: Dara Rehberg-McKinney, Kelsey Barnett, and David Barnett; brothers Derek Rehberg and Vince Rehberg. Her grandchildren:Chase McKinney, Taylor McKinney, Aiden Rehberg, and Baylee Clayton.
