WAXHAW NC: Mr. Hartzler, 70, passed away at his home on April 24, 2009. David was born in Richland County, OH to the late Robert and Minnie Griffon Hartzler.
The family will receive friends today, Saturday April 25, 2009 at Heritage Funeral Home, Indian Trail Chapel, 4431 Old Monroe Rd., Indian Trail, NC 28079.
David's sense of humor and an uncanny dry wit will surely be missed by all.
David loved the outdoors and was a groundskeeper at several golf courses.
David is survived by his loving wife, Joyce Hartzler; two daughters, Stephanie Palmer and Amanda Hartzler; a son, Courtney Hartzler; a step-son, Tommy Kinsey; and a step-daughter, Michelle Lynch.
