About	MANSFIELD: Love is a strong word with emotion, but what better word to describe Karen Jacobs than love. From listening to music, 50’s and 60’s music were her favorite, to watching old movies and gameshows, to gardening or simply enjoying the beauty of nature, Karen was one to enjoy life. Above all else, her kind-heart and love fueled her passions in life. Karen Jacobs passed away Tuesday, July 7, 2015 surrounded by her family. She was 64. She was born October 15, 1950 to parents Gerald & Naomi (Kennedy) Jacobs in Mansfield. Karen was graduated from Ontario High School with the class of 1968. Karen was one who loved animals. There’s an old saying that goes “Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life.” Karen took that saying to heart by working at Shelby Animal Clinic as a veterinary assistant. She is survived by her siblings Shirley Joan (Curtis) Cook of Dayton, Norma (Roger) Shaull of Mansfield, Peggy (George) Carver of Lexington, Jack (Judy) Jacobs of Mansfield, Richard (Patti) Jacobs of Hilton Head, South Carolina, Ken (Kathy) Jacobs of Fairfield, Frank (Norma) Jacobs of Mansfield, Don (Loraine) Jacobs of Mansfield, Sally (Tom) Sedlacek of Mansfield and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents Gerald & Naomi (Kennedy) Jacobs and brother Gary Jacobs.
